The history of Chobots

Chobots. It's a game everyone who is probably visiting this blog has grown to love. It's had many journeys in many ways but everyone knows it all began back in October 11th, 2008. 

Many players know the company which made Chobots was called Vayersoft. Chobots wasn't the only game they developed but another game called 7Wizards, Chobots was kinda of like your eccentric version of Club Penguin. Everyone was a lot more involved and there was more things to do than you can in Club Penguin, at least in my eyes. So the game was and is very eye catching. As it's popularity grew, so did it's troubles. The game struggled with funding as well as some hackers. Eventually, this led to the sad shutdown of Chobots.com, the server everyone who loved the game originally played on. Along with the shutdown of .com, hackers went on to hack other versions of the game such as .in. Even through all of that it seemed basically hopeless for the game to revived. But many people created private servers which grew into some like Chobots.net, Chobots.de and Chotopia.us, the current and most popular server.
